Jay James Picton

Two years ago Jay James Picton was a fitness instructor in the Royal Navy and now is record label Decca's newest signing and future soul star, working with the likes of Booker T Jones and John Legend. He co-produced his debut album, Play It By Heart, working with Mike Peden and Malay, who have worked with David Bowie and 50 Cent respectively. We meet Picton in South London to indulge in one of his passions, boating, and find out how he's handling his new found fame.
