Sigur Rós, Valtari

Sigur Rós have always been a band to shy away from convention. For their sixth album, Valtari, the band gave a dozen renowned filmmakers the same budget and asked them to create a film based on the images that came to mind while listening to a specific song from the album. Talent such as John Cameron Mitchell, Ryan McGinley and Ramin Bahrani each rose to the challenge to come up with their own unique interpretation for this 'Mystery Film Experiment'.
