Alice Anderson

Born in London, but brought up in France, Alice Anderson was always drawn to art, she even admits to not speaking much as a child, preferring images over words. Channelling her artistic side Anderson completed a Masters in Fine Art from Goldsmiths in 2004 and since the late noughties has been creating pieces inspired by her fascination with hair stemming from her childhood. Here, Anderson speaks to Crane.tv at her south London studio about her latest project at the MAC in Birmingham and tells us why art calms her anxieties. www.alice-anderson.org
