Part of the well known YBA set to come out of Goldsmith's College in the 1980s, Marcus Harvey made a name for himself through his infamous and controversial painting Myra, exhibited at the Royal Academy in London in 1997. Crane.tv met with Harvey in his south London studio ahead of his self-curated exhibition at the Pangolin. 'Two and a half dimensions' is the term Harvey uses to describe the merger between painting and sculpture, the exhibition features the work of a range of artists from Harvey himself to Sir Anthony Caro and recent graduates.
